Do you ever use sling rings? When tying off, for a doll ring sling, or to make a no-sew ring sling with a short woven wrap?

We often receive the same question in our inbox: ‘Which size sling rings do I need?’ You can find the answer here!

Here next to this text you can see an image of 3 sizes of sling rings, S, M and L. The diameter is measured on the inside!

Size S: Ø 5cm
Size M: Ø 6,4cm
Size L: Ø 7,6cm

If you want to make a doll ring sling from a piece of scrap fabric, you can use size S . This ring size is also handy for making a bag, for example for an adjustable shoulder strap!

Size M is the one to choose if you have a somewhat thinner baby wrap that you want to tie off, or want to make a (no-sew) ring sling from it.

For the most baby wraps it is best to choose size L. Making a no-sew ring sling, using cool finishes with one or two rings..with size L, you can go in any direction!
