You know how it is. Your child can walk independently, but their little legs tire very quickly and you simply want to be able to keep walking comfortably. Or perhaps you are going on holiday and do not want to take the buggy, because a baby carrier is simply much more convenient! There are plenty of reasons why you might find a toddler carrier or a preschool carrier useful. Carrying a bigger child may seem tiring, but ergonomic carriers distribute your child's weight evenly across your shoulders, back and hips. And it is also wonderfully cosy!

We distinguish between the following types of baby carriers

• Baby carriers that fasten entirely with buckles (full-buckle) and require a baby insert.
• Baby carriers that fasten entirely with buckles (full-buckle) and can be used without a baby insert.
• Baby carriers with a buckle on the waistband and shoulder straps that are tied (half-buckle).
• Baby carriers with both a tie waistband and tie shoulder straps (Meh Dai).

Full-buckle, half-buckle or Meh Dai

Are you choosing a full-buckle, a half-buckle or a Meh Dai? This is a very personal choice. Do you want something ready to click into place? Then choose a full-buckle! Do you use the baby carrier together with a partner whose build is very different from yours? Then you can imagine that with a full-buckle carrier, you need to adjust the straps properly again each time your partner has used the carrier. This is not difficult at all, but it may be a reason not to choose a full-buckle. Do you dislike the look of all the straps hanging from a full-buckle carrier? Or do you think a carrier with buckles would not feel comfortable? In that case, you can also consider a Meh Dai or possibly a half-buckle.
