Baby carrier for your child wearing clothing size 110
Why would you still buy a baby carrier for a child wearing size 110 or larger? We hear that ‘comment’ quite often. They can walk, jump and run perfectly well on their own, can’t they? Yes, in most cases they certainly can. And that is usually what they will do! But sometimes there are moments when it really is wonderful for your 'big little child' to have a moment of rest on your back while you, as a parent, can still keep walking. Think of a long day at an amusement park, a city trip, a holiday, a long walk... your child may seem big, but they still really enjoy the security and familiarity of being close to mum or dad in the baby carrier. And those little legs really do get tired sometimes. The ergonomic carriers in our range distribute your child’s weight evenly across your shoulders, back and hips. This means you carry ‘light’ even though you have quite a few kilos on your back. And if you have been carrying your child since they were little, your muscles will naturally have become accustomed to it too. If your child still needs it from time to time, I would say go for it!
We distinguish between the following types of baby carriers
Full-buckle, half-buckle or mei tai
Will you choose a full-buckle, a half-buckle or a mei tai? The choice you make here is very personal. Do you want something ready to use? Then choose a full-buckle! Do you use the baby carrier together with your partner, who has a very different build from you? Then you can imagine that with a full-buckle baby carrier, you have to adjust the straps properly again each time your partner has used the carrier. This is not difficult at all, but it may be a reason not to choose a full-buckle. Don’t you like the look of all those straps hanging from a full-buckle baby carrier? Or does a buckle carrier not seem comfortable to you? Then you can also consider a mei tai or possibly a half-buckle.

Below you will find information about all the baby carriers you can choose if your child is size 110 or larger. We list the baby carriers that your child can still use at least up to size 116 or longer. Children no longer grow as quickly at this age, so you can use them for quite a while. Each baby carrier states how long you can use it, and if it appeals to you, you can click through to the products in the webshop to see which colours and prints we have in stock. If you can’t quite figure it out, please contact us. We will try to help you as best we can! You can also visit Slings & Things for a carrier fitting.
